AnaEE
AnaEE is a research infrastructure for experimental manipulation of managed and unmanaged terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. It will strongly support scientists in their analysis, assessment and forecasting of the impact of climate and other global changes on the services that ecosystems provide to society.
AnaEE will support European scientists and policymakers to develop solutions to the challenges of food security and environmental sustainability, with the aim of stimulating the growth of a vibrant bioeconomy. AnaEE will accomplish this mission by building permanent and substantial links among researchers, science managers, policy makers, public and private sector innovators, and citizens.

LTER-Europe
ALTER-Net is a network of partner institutes from 18 European countries. ALTER-Net integrates research capacities across Europe: assessing changes in biodiversity, analysing the effect of those changes on ecosystem services and informing policymakers and the public about this at a European scale. Originally funded by the European Union’s Framework VI program to stimulate a collaborative approach, ALTER-Net is now operating independently, contributing to the lasting integration of Europe’s research capacity on biodiversity.

IC-FAR
The aim of ICFAR is to enhance the knowledge about the expected climate change impacts on Italian cropping systems with particular attention to the assessment of uncertainties and to the development of adaptation strategies in different environmental conditions.
ICFAR will analyse the components of uncertainty by applying mathematical models calibrated with robust datasets from Long Term field Experiments (LTEs) that will be updated, validated and used to check the long term impacts of agronomic management practices on crop yield, water, C and N cycles.A special attention will be given to the dissemination of results and to the training and education of young researchers.
